        Full Description

Supply chain disruptions, inflation, and COVID-19 can and will affect property values, incomes, levies, and costs. For those local governments that rely mostly on property taxes, how will their budgets be impacted?

This largely depends on property tax assessment procedures and controls. In Indiana, local governments raise more revenue from property tax than any other tax. Larry DeBoer will analyze Indiana’s situation in an upcoming policy talk hosted by the Purdue University Research Center in Economics (PURCE).

Dr. DeBoer is professor emeritus, Agricultural Economics at Purdue. His research interests include state and local government, property tax, and economic outlooks.

Your host will be PURCE Kozuch Director Kevin Mumford, and there will be a Q&A following Dr. DeBoer’s talk.

Join us either in-person OR virtually.
