Competition Information

Registration & Team Formation

  • Register individually and provide your name, major, year, and skill focus.
  • If you have someone you would like to work with, include their name and major in your Statement of Purpose. They must also register individually. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but placement together is not guaranteed.
  • We will form teams based on complementary strengths and interests.
  • Your skill focus does not have to match your major. Students from all majors are welcome!

Statement of Purpose & Skills

Briefly describe:

  • Why you want to participate and what you hope to learn.
  • What skills you would bring and the role you enjoy taking in group projects. Examples include presentation and slide design, pitching and storytelling, public speaking, business strategy, research and data analysis, financial modeling, data visualization, coding and software development, vibe coding and AI tools.
  • Where you would like to grow and which complementary skills you would appreciate in a teammate.
  • Your preferred teammate’s name and major, if applicable. This is optional and requests are not guaranteed.

You can draw from classes, projects, clubs, hobbies, or personal interests. You do not need formal experience or advanced skills. Your response will help us build teams where participants can contribute and learn from one another.
