The C4B Case Competition has three main stages: registration, virtual case submission and judging, and the in-person competition.
1. Register Your Team
Teams must consist of four Purdue students.
Registration opens: August 24
Registration closes: September 8
Register your team through Pitch.
2. Case Workshop & Submission
September 8 | 4:45–5:45 p.m. | Rawls 3058
The Center for Business Communication will host a case workshop and officially release the competition case.
One member from each team must attend.
Teams will then have September 8–13 to develop their solution and prepare their submission.
Initial case submission deadline: September 13 at midnight
3. Online Judging
September 14–20
Judges will review and score all submitted cases virtually.
The Top 18 teams will advance to the in-person competition and will be announced on September 21.
4. Prepare for the In-Person Competition
September 21–28
The Top 18 teams will have the week to refine their solutions and prepare their presentations.
Final presentation deadline: September 28 at noon
In-Person Competition
September 29
The Top 18 teams will compete in the semifinal round in Stewart 202, 204, and 310.
Following the semifinal round, the top teams will advance to the final round in Stewart 202, where the final judging panel will determine the top three teams.
