Competition Information

The Daniels School of Business invites teams of four students to apply to compete in the prestigious 2026 Kelley-Daniels Case Competition to be held at the Kelley School of Business on Indiana University's campus. Students should have Purdue, DECA, Academic Research, or other proven success in case experiences.

Teams that are selected to participate will be provided training by alumni, staff, and successful case competitors. This competition is for full-time Daniels School undergraduate students. Four teams will be selected to participate. With you registration, please submit your resume AND a one-page document explaining your experience with case competitions and probable success (this will be submitted under the heading for "statement of purpose." We host other competitions that include undergraduate and master's students from all majors.

Win prize money, represent Purdue, showcase skills and compete against IU!

Important Dates:

  • October 19: Team registration deadline. Additional information and interviews may be required.
  • October 27, 6:30 pm, Rawls Hall, Room 2077, and October 29, 6:30 pm, Rawls Hall, Room 1062. **All teams must attend one coaching session.**
  • November 7, 12:00 pm: Purdue and IU Community Training and Case Release
  • November 7-8: Kelley Daniels Case Competition
  • November 8: 7:30-noon First-Round Presentations; afternoon Final Presentations and winning team announcement

Case competitions are academic competitions in which students come together to solve a case or issue. Working in teams, students deduce a recommendation that they support in a presentation in front of judges or company sponsors. 

Are you interested in competing but don’t yet have a team? Please email crprince@purdue.edu to express your interest. If we have enough individuals, we may be able to form a team.
